The silicone sleeve does its job well - I've dropped it, baby has dropped (thrown) it and it's still going strong. The cap actually seals the teat unlike some other plastic bottle brands, so I dont need to worry about spills during travel.
The plastic sippy lid (sold separately) broke both times baby threw it so I wouldn't recommend that extra.
